SCENARIO: You just started as Chief of Staff at Vella. The company runs on Vella OS — an AI-native operating system built in Notion with agent workflows, databases, decision-logging protocols, and onboarding systems. The OS is already built and running, but it needs an owner. In your first 3 days, you need to assess the current state of the system and identify the highest-leverage improvements. Walk us through your exact approach: How do you audit the OS? What do you look at first? How do you evaluate what's working vs. what's stale? How do you decide what to fix first?
